The actors of the Forex are Central Banks, Commercial Banks, Hedgers, Speculators, Brokers (Electonic Communication Network, "No dealing desk" Brokers, Market Makers).
The exchange rates quoted on currency markets, vary continuously, they also vary depending on the market place.
Caution - Be careful about cotations on the net : Market Makers brokers themselves set the purchase prices and the selling prices they post on their platforms according to their own strategies !
